“Being a part of TFC has re-centered our priorities and given us a new perspective on God as Father,” states Ed. “It’s made me realize, without God we can’t do a thing. It’s brought the scripture from Romans 6, the wages of sin is death, to life for me. It’s the stark reality of a little child dying due to our brokenness; we are all broken and I’m broken to the point when I don’t even have the answers. We all need the Lord.”

Reminded to Trust and Love

Reminded to Trust and Love

We are reaching the children on the streets and God is drawing many of them to a personal relationship with him. We are teaching them using knowledge and wisdom from a biblical perspective. And we are growing the ministry in a way that is SUSTAINABLE. From an investment perspective that's tough to beat!!!

A "Look and Learn" Moment for Liz

A "Look and Learn" Moment for Liz

It had started raining one afternoon, as it did almost every day. One of the younger children, about 3 years old had to go to the restroom. One of the older girls, she couldn’t have been more than about 9 herself, picked up the younger little girl, removed the hood of her jacket from her head, placed it over the head of the younger child, and took her to the restroom. It brought tears to my eyes. It got me thinking, do I display that kind of selfless love to people I come in contact with? Am I putting love in action like that? It was one of those “look and learn” moments that will stay with me for a very long time. Indeed, I do not expect to forget that moment, ever!
